Scholar's Plight
Project type
Logo Design/Marketing Collateral
Problem
Scholar’s Plight needed a brand that could speak to the frustration many learners and families feel around education, without making the business feel negative or heavy. Dillyn wanted the identity to feel supportive and approachable, with the broken pencil as an important symbol of what isn’t working.
Solution
I built the identity around that idea, using the broken pencil as a visual cue for challenge and change, then balancing it with softer pinks and blues to bring in warmth and care. The aim was to make the brand feel bold enough to stand for something, while still feeling safe, encouraging and accessible to learners and parents.
Result
The result is a strong, thoughtful identity that gives Scholar’s Plight a clear point of view without losing the human side of the business. It reflects Dillyn’s belief in personalised support and gives the brand a look that feels hopeful, approachable and ready to grow across online and in-person learning.
