About me
I'm a freelance Design Consultant and Creative Partner with over 20 years of design experience and 16 years as a photographer.
I act as a flexible pair of expert hands for growing businesses. Whether you need complex document layout, digital assets, print collateral, or professional photography, I handle the creative execution from start to finish.
Because I've spent years working alongside commercial print shops and digital teams, I know the technical side inside out. I make sure your files are set up correctly for print and screen alike, saving you from bad formatting, broken graphics, or the stress of figuring out technical specs yourself.
I'm based in Llandudno, North Wales, but work with clients all over the UK and across the world. Wherever you're located, I make the whole process calm, simple, and completely stress-free.

It’s a nod to my maiden name, Luck (and let’s be honest, my married name’s a bit of a mouthful here in the UK.)

From layouts to lenses
My creative path actually started in textile and surface design where I graduated cum laude, but graphic design eventually pulled me in and I never looked back. Layout design has always been my favourite part of the process, and spending several years as a senior layout designer for a magazine is where I really honed my approach. That publishing work is also where my love for photography first started.
For ten years, I worked as a wedding photographer capturing real, meaningful moments. After my second child, COVID, and two international moves, I shifted my focus and now photograph families through Wyatt and Ruby Imagery, where I focus on natural, honest storytelling
Alongside my freelance work, I am also Founder and Principal Consultant at The You Co., a specialist consultancy focused on complex editorial and information design. We help organisations turn messy, heavy content into clear, beautifully structured publications and documents.
Whether I am behind a camera or sitting at my desk on the North Wales coast, my goal is always the same: to strip away the noise and focus on what actually matters.
